Fuse Changemakers

Young people see their neighbourhood differently from adults. They notice what's missing, what could be more fun, and what needs fixing. Fuse Changemakers turns those ideas into action. Members meet once a term to discuss what matters to them in Sumner, Redcliffs, and Mt Pleasant, and share their views with local groups, community leaders, and decision-makers. They then plan events that bring people together, such as youth clothing swaps, markets, youth music, discos, plantings, beach clean-ups, and celebrations. Each member helps with budgets, bookings, promotion, and making things happen on the day. Some people love speaking up, while others prefer designing posters or working behind the scenes, and both matter. This is a place to build confidence and skills, and to know your voice counts in the place you call home. We will connect in with the Residents' Associations and local environment groups as well as with Council.
